Introduction: Microsoft Dynamics 365
Dynamics 365 is a single product with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) features as announced by Microsoft in July 2016.
Dynamics 365 is sold in two editions, Enterprise Edition for medium to large organizations and the Business Edition for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs or SMBs).
- The Enterprise Edition comprises Dynamics CRM applications (field service, sales, project service automation, and customer service) plus Microsoft PowerApps, together with Microsoft’s premier ERP product, known as Dynamics 365 for Operations (Similar to latest version of AX family i.e. AX 7).
- The Business Edition includes the application having similar functionalities of Navision as well as CRM. It has been launched in US and Canada. In other geographies it is to be launched within one to two years.
